Upon arrival at Haus Dumicketal, we were warmly welcomed by the friendly staff, who even accommodated an early check-in for us. The picturesque location nestled in the Ebbegebirge Nature Park provided a serene backdrop for our weekend getaway. The room was comfortable and spacious, equipped with modern amenities including free Wi-Fi and satellite TV.The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the excellent food served at the restaurant. From the delicious continental breakfast with freshly cooked scrambled eggs to the sumptuous dinner options, every meal was a delight for our taste buds. Martin, the owner and chef, went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable dining experience.We appreciated the attention to detail in the room, such as the abundance of power sockets and a great shower. The staff's friendliness extended to offering secure parking for our motorbike, a gesture not commonly found in accommodations. The free shuttle service provided added convenience for exploring the nearby attractions, like the Gumbala Water Park. I highly recommend this 3-star property for a peaceful retreat in the beautiful Sauerland region. It was a pleasure to share these memorable moments with my family, surrounded by Bavarian hospitality at its finest.
